Yela’s been bubbling for a few months, and despite an aborted attempt at downloading Trunk Muzik 0-60, I’d only heard a few of his guest verses until now. MISTAKE. This album is packed full of apocalyptic beats, insane tumbling meter on every track, and grimy Southern rhyming. So happy I’ve got a couple weeks left on I-20 before I’m back up north.
