GIF 22 of 24!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my fundraising gif marathon is coming to close and my body couldn’t be more thankful. only a couple hours left!!

God, whatever is in that slurpee looks like it would make me level up. Into advanced diabetes.

I’m up nice and early for the exterminator. See, I hired someone to kill me because I’m awake so early. #whitegirlproblems

Early Bird Special: Good morning! The market is on the brink of collapse, Goldman Sachs rules the world, and traders are going to sleep at night dreaming of another recession because they see it as an opportunity to cash in.

Oh, did I say good morning? I meant STOCK UP ON CANNED GOODS morning.

UPDATE: Yes Men: “We’ve never heard of Rastani. He isn’t a Yes Man. He’s a real trader who is, for one reason or another, being more honest than usual.”

Hahahaha oh my lord this is hilarious.

I did this!

Here are some fun results:

  • There are 475 tracks total, 10 of which are songs of my choice. The remaining 465 songs are all albums I had never listened to when I uploaded them.
  • So far, I have singled out 19 of those songs as worthy of “The Best New” playlist.
  • The artist with the most songs on that playlist is Shabazz Palaces, with three.
  • On the artist list of my mp3 player, there are four entries for Yelawolf. They’re all spelled and capitalized the same. Dunno how that happened.

(Full disclosure: I wrote this a month ago and never published it. Whoops)

Kap Slap & 3LAU, “Turbulent Rock Anthem (MSTRKRFT vs. LMFAO & Sexy Ray Vision vs. Laidback Luke & Steve Aoki & Lil Jon vs. Sidney Samson vs. Afrojack vs. Bassjackers vs. Imogen Heap & Cryptex vs. Fedde Le Grand)”

I haven’t heard a new great mashup artist in awhile, and I think karma noticed. I mean, look at how much mashing up is going on in that song title.

Kap Slap and 3LAU were unknown to me until this weekend, and that is one of the great crimes against humanity. Specialists of dance music mashups, they rip out the best parts of all your dancefloor-faves before somehow stringing them together in a novel, integrated way. For example, I’ve listened to both “Party Rock Anthem” and “Turbulence” in their original forms, and this song blows them both out of the water.

While I’m not sure how much original production goes into their tracks, they’re demonstrating obvious knowledge of how to construct a perfect pop song. You can download Kap Slap and 3LAU for freeeee

I think the bedbugs were what held the horseflies at bay. I did seriously just suck like 20 out of the air with the vacuum. It was dope.
